And today I can not reproduce this anymore ... But a general question (I'm not a sound guru): I thought, the sampling rate is needed for sound recording only (e.g. from a microphone), and getting data from the CD and storing it on my disk is just copying binary data (and probably some conversion) ? OTOH, copying data with konqueror (audiocd:/) to my disk produces a slightly different file size than when simply getting this data with cdparanoia - why this ? - -- Best regards/Schöne Grüße Martin Public key at: http://blackhole.pca.dfn.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x8DFB0F86 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE/ONqCHmdPoI37D4YRApAzAKCu1+wNZvL/QWgibjPX9BcHI34d5wCfeLEQ /TAWXHTfjIbkDAjgUft6D7E= =ElMu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ kde-multimedia mailing list kde-multimedia@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-multimedia
