OS/Compiler notes: 

Noatun is not able to play files directly from a Samba share using the smb: kioslave. \
 For instance, a user could be browsing the LAN through Konqueror, find some music \
files on a Samba share and play them directly. When I try this with XMMS, the file is \
downloaded to the local drive and then played. But with Noatun the download doesn't \
even occur. It simply doesn't play.
