hi, im trying to compile kdemultimedia 3.0.1 with alsa 0.9.0rc2, and when i configure with --enable-audio=alsa ... the configure script spits this out... checking enable_audio=oss... no checking enable_audio=sun... no checking enable_audio=hpux... no checking enable_audio=irix... no checking enable_audio=mme... no checking enable_audio=sb_dsp... no checking enable_audio=alsa... checking for ALSA CFLAGS... checking for ALSA LDFLAGS... -lasound checking for libasound headers version >= 0.1.1... found. checking for snd_cards in -lasound... no No linkable libasound was found. ALSA: Enabled checking enable_audio=alib... no checking enable_audio=nas... no checking enable_audio=esd... no it says enabled, but most of it refuses to compile, with lots of alsa errors. does kdemultimedia need an older version of alsa? if so, can i use kdemultimedia from HEAD with 3.0.1 everything else? as im sure the HEAD branch should work with the latest alsa..?? please CC me in response, as im not subscribed to the kde-multimedia list.. Thanks,.
