Hi,

For anyone who might be interested, I wrote an aRts plugin for xine. The 
plugin will enable ASF, AVI, Quicktime, MPEG, MPEG-2 and DivX video playback.
It still has some bugs, but it should work with KDE-2.x.

The binary RPM is for Red Hat Linux 7.2. (get the xine RPMs from rawhide)
