Subject:    ANNOUNCE: Rosegarden-4 v0.1 release

  The Rosegarden development team announces the release of
  Rosegarden-4 v0.1, a sequencer and musical notation editor.

  This is an alpha, development release, not suitable for
  end-users.  Code is available here :

  http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=4932

  and requires KDE2 (if no files are present yet, please come back in a few
  hours, sourceforge is slow for this).

  for an explanation of why this release is numbered "4".)

  The current features are:

    -- Basic track editor
    -- Basic notation (score) editor
    -- Basic MIDI playback (using aRts), recording and file support

  We are very much looking for skilled contributors.  This
  is in fact the sole purpose of this release.  If you're
  interested, check out the code documentation and coding
  guidelines on the project homepage.
