From kde-multimedia Wed Sep 12 17:15:50 2001 From: f00-mlu () f ! kth ! se Date: Wed, 12 Sep 2001 17:15:50 +0000 To: kde-multimedia Subject: Bug#32402: unable to play MP3:s X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-multimedia&m=100031577224568 Package: noatun Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.0 ) Severity: normal Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.2.0-final-3 (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010810 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.9 OS/Compiler notes: When I try to play an MP3 file in Noatun it fails. It does not crash, it simply does nothing (apparently). The play button seems to stay pressed down even when I press the stop button. I can close Noatun using the regular close button in the top right corner however. I tried loading Noatun from Konsole, and got this output when trying to play an MP3 file: unix_connect: can't connect to server (unix:/tmp/mcop-mattias/debian-019a-3b9f9199) Playing .wav files works fine however. Actually, all my MP3 files are on a read-only mounted FAT32 partition, and the .wav files I played were in my home directory, but this shouldn't matter, right? I tried copying the MP3:s to my home directory, but it made no difference.
