OK, I was able to install it from the experimental repository now. Thanks.
Feedback:
- I started from zero (removed all configuration data).
- The first start takes ages (yes, I know...) and didn't succeed. It
ended with a crash in one of the nepomuk apps. and I had to run
kmail-mobile.sh one more time
- The account setup went fine but it took ~20m before I got to read my
first mail. I use a GMail account with ~5000 mails in different folders
(~2000 in my INBOX).
- During the 20m the system was >80% cpu for most of the time.
- I waited until the cpu usage dropped and started to use kmail-mobile.
- It is still slow. 3s is an optimistic value for feedback times.
Opening a mail takes ~10s. Each time.
- The dotted background (metal style?) looks nice but decreases
readability in the list view.
- There are red entries in the menu(s). Are these developer functions?
Not implemented yet? What does it mean?
That's it for now. I will play around a bit more...
-Rolf
