            Bug ID: 486353
Summary: Kdenlive thinks I'm still dragging
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 24.02.0
          Platform: macOS (DMG)
                OS: macOS
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Effects & Transitions
          Assignee: jb@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: kde.r7mp0@passmail.net
  Target Milestone: ---

After dragging clips in the timeline and releasing the mouse button, Kdenlive
thinks I'm still dragging. I'm not able to do any more actions until I quit the
program and restart; sometimes I get the warning "Cannot perform operation
while dragging in timeline". This happens almost every time I drag and drop
clips.

Kdenlive version 24.02.0 running on Mac OS 12.7.4 on an Intel-based Macbook Pro
early 2015, using the laptop track pad

I first opened a discussion here but then was guided to open a bug report
https://discuss.kde.org/t/kdenlive-thinks-im-still-dragging/14817/1
