Thanks to Nicos I've learnt by now that it is essential to build kdelibs4 with \
-DKDE4_AUTH_BACKEND_NAME="OSX" to get his working fine,  or was it mainly due to the \
removal of -DKDE4_ENABLE_FINAL=ON from configure options?? \
