I'm probably misunderstanding but surely runtime resources won't be found properly? \
That's not my real reason though, it's more that it's annoying/surprising for a \
developer to download the KDE source and have a bunch of files install outside of the \
prefix. I don't have a problem with the  /Applications installation (as it seems to \
work for you), I just debate if it should be the default in debug mode for a fresh \
build.

That's the plan, eventually. I'm getting there slowly, getting stuff working in \
Homebrew is my first step here.
