i have a few suggestions for the look & feel of the kde:

- have a shortcut for "Show Desktop" (i am used to winkey + D from winblows)
- in kfm if u select more than one file or directory when u copy from one 
place to onother to see a total copy progress bar and a current 
file/directory progress bar
- if i execute a shell command in kfm the window that pop's up doesn't keep 
the focus on the output (it stays focus on the fist few lines of output)
- a shortcut key to show me the size of directory (without a popup window, in 
the size tab, something like space in windows commander)
- a tab in kcontrol to define the mouse wheel actions (like mozzilla: shift+, 
alt+, ctrl+ )

that's it for now ...
