Subject:    QT Effects and KDE 2.1

Hi

    I don't know how to
activate QT "effects" to
scroll combo-boxes and fade
menus in KDE 2.1 . When I
compiled KDE 2.1 beta2 the
effects worked only for the
background menus and for
Run-dialog. But when starting
a K-application in
Enlightenment , all the
effects worked.. The only
application that had effects
on KDE 2.1 beta2 was QT
Designer.
    Now I have KDE 2.1 from
rpms and there is no effect at
all, not even in QT Designer,
even if the Kapp is run from
Enlightenment.. and that
surpasses my understanding...
I tried to compile KDE 2.1
myself, everything went smooth
until trying to start an
application. Almost every
KDE application crashed
complaining about beeing
unable to find database for
"findFarm" or something like
that.
