I don't know if somebody has thought about what happens with
Shift-Ctrl-Home/End when 'vertical selection' is enabled in a text editor.
If I am in the first column of text, the consistent behaviour should be to
select the first column of text, not all the text. So, Shift-Ctrl-Home/End
is not a good replacement for a 'Select All' keystroke.

IMHO, we should go for a special keystroke for this (Ctrl+A or whatever,
doesn't matter).
