Why not make KFM a Netscape replacement ?
3 reasons.

1 : Netscape will get more DnD compatible with Gnome and by natural
   asociation KDE.  Other items like Corba may be included in the
   hack.

2 : Adding any more features to KFM is a bad idea.  I would even
   prefer if there was a separate file manager that didn't do HTML
   at all.

3 : Adding Java, Plugin support and other really heavyweight features
will 
   make KDE really fat and brittle.
