Yes, the double click period is currently hardwired in Qt (afaik. to
400ms). -- I happen to know that because when I first tried to get Qt 1.1
working on Linux/Alpha it failed to recognize double clicks. -- I had to
patch that very line... ;-) (Thanks to TrollTech for including that patch
in the Qt sources, BTW...) -- When I had a look at the Qt 1.2 sources I
saw that my patch is still there.
I don't have the Qt sources at hand now so I cannot tell you the very
source file you have to look at. -- But you could try to grep for "400",
it is hardcoded directly in the sources (so no #defines)...
Turning the double-click delay into an option that can be configured at
run-time would be very nice indead. (hint, hint... ;-) )
But IMHO Qt is great even with that hardwired double-click delay... ;-)
