Hi Vicky,

This happened to me too, I have an SIS630 it does it on rh7 but not on
mandrake8 when using kde 2.1.1

I upgraded to kde2.2 & this problem goes away, but I've never seen a fix for
this problem. In order to redisplay the screen, I fired up an xterm & then
dragged it across the screen forcing a redraw of every thing behind it.

Regards
Greg

In KDE 2.1.x, when i drag on icon across the desktop,
it leaves a cone of black patch behind which even
obliterates 'kicker'. It happens consistently on
RH6.2, RH7.1 and MDK8.0. My display card is Sis530 and
CPU is AMD K6-500 Mhz. What could be wrong? BTW, this
does not happen in GNOME??!!

Vicky
