Unfortunately you're about to cause your self a world of pain by mixing=20 packages from one distribution of Linux with another. Unfortunately, in Lin= ux=20 if a package is from one distribution or another, it is highly advised to u= se=20 packages only for the distribution you are on. This is caused by version=20 mismatches of libraries, locations of tools, and the scripts used to start= =20 the installation/configure it. SuSE is as far from Debian in many ways as a= n=20 apple is to an orange. While both are fruit and they both are sweet, they=20 aren't one and the same. --nextPart1408744.PNhD1YgOEk Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.9.20 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBE8g6QCkngzK11zHsRAny8AJ90AEoBwtfC436AcG6ZATz0XQ2F7QCcDIg3 ihhLdkU/3JqA3Mi7W2FnD3Y= =RoR2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1408744.PNhD1YgOEk-- --===============0586386996== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde-linux mailing list.
