The reason there is no universal answer is because this is handled in=20 a variety of ways in different Distros. SuSE's way generally works and=20 has since 8.3. However SuSE has changed the mechanism at least twice since then, and in some cases you still have to manually hack /etc/fstab. Other Distros's STILL don't work, even when KDE tries to make it work. This is still in flux after all these years, There is no single standard. =2D-=20 _____________________________________ John Andersen --nextPart1413336.YVGl4k7V4h Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBE3jhdYH9YMSad7nIRAgvzAJ9O69GQ9DQAGrkaZ0s0XDjVJkGUDQCdFSsH xbAL84xLoKIwszycV1DH+S8= =yuIA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1413336.YVGl4k7V4h-- --===============1387897532== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde-linux mailing list.
