Hi, I've been trying to get KDE 3.5.0 running with DBUS/hal for a few days now, with no success. KDE is compiled with dbus support, there is an option checked in the configuration, but media:/ shows only some network shares, no hardware, nevermind the hotplug notification. Could anyone give me a clue where to look for the source of the problem? DBUS and hal are kind of poorly documented and I really didn't find anything relevant on Google. Here's my system configuration: KDE 3.5.0 is entirely from sources.
