From kde-linux Mon May 02 16:14:27 2005 From: Rob Tanner Date: Mon, 02 May 2005 16:14:27 +0000 To: kde-linux Subject: Re: [kde-linux] starting konsole and options Message-Id: X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-linux&m=111505051013781 Tony, Question 1: type "konsole" on the command line. "konsole --help" for a list of options. Question 2: I don't have the "options" edit windows when I look at properties. Perhaps that omission is a RedHat peculiarity. On the other hand, I'm running a slightly more recent version of KDE on my machine at home. I'll have to take a look. For what you want to do, however, I would use a shell script to invoke the app, keeping the app in the shell's environment (i.e., don't do an "exec") and wait at a prompt to terminate. I do that a lot with perl scripts so I don't need the shell, but the concept is the same. -- Rob --On Monday, May 02, 2005 09:00:29 AM -0700 Tony Alfrey wrote: > Two questions please: > 1.
