What a silly idea to look under redhat  ;-))

I googeled for 'open office bug 100849'
on first page (for Suse) I found:
	 Workaround 
 	by Anonymous on Friday 18/Mar/2005, @15:56 
	http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100849#c2
so the answer is:
add "[Development] AutoCheckAccelerators=false" to your ~/.kde/share/config/
kdeglobals.
