OK - so I tried updating using YAST via ftp as described in the document, but 
still got some dependency conflicts, which I wasn't sure how to resolve. I 
will stick with KDE 3.1 for now (it mostly works fine) until I update the 
entire system sometime later. Thanks for your help.
