What are you trying to accomplish (end result)? Why evolution?

As you can see from the headers, the current stable version is 2.0.3. It
requires evolution-data-server. There is also a webcal package that I
use. To avoid dependency issues, I recommend that you install Gnome -
leaving KDE as the default desktop.
