The operative word is 'browser' . Web browsing is only one of dozens of
protocols that konq handles. On all those other protocols the correct meaning
of home IS the users home; that you dont use those protocols is irrelevant.
Just because home became a euphemism for a users home portal at a later date
in time does not mean that the konq developers are in error.
Is it a usability issue? Definitely! With so many newbies to linux that seem
unable to use the profile/Go menu or a Bookmark to achieve the result they
want then perhaps the developers should add an *extra* home-page button to
the profile. But dont say they are technically wrong.
