looking at i2c-frodo.c it is for an ARM adapter, seeing as you are IA32(k6) 
you shouldn't have it enabled. if you haven't enabled it (bug in the i2c 
mkpatch routine) then disable i2c in the kernel tree and building the 
external packages i2c-2.7.0 and lm_sensors
