I have just compiled kdeartwork source package and there IS The Matrix 
screensaver. I think the problem is with your binary distribution, they 
didn't include all the screensavers.

I think these binary packages are sux, for example 3.0.5 debs for my Debian 
Woody were compiled without Xft support and I've lost 2 days to find why 
there's no anti-aliasing...

My advice: compile KDE yourself, it isn't so painful.. and the results will be 
much better!
