What version of KDE are you using?  When I upgraded from 3.0.4 -> 3.0.5
my antialias broke.  JRT told me that freetype needed to be re-installed
or something similar.  Anyway I never got it to work.  I'm hoping 3.1
will work for me.

But what are the steps you used to install your ttf/TTF fonts?
