Mike, I couldn't agree more. I am still running on the KDE version
that comes with RedHat 7.1 and I think it is wonderful. Much, much
better than Win ME I have to use most of the time.

First of all, we should get down on our knees and kiss Trolltech's
butt. 
They've produced some excellent technology that produces a gorgeous
desktop. 
Way, way more attractive than anything coming out of Redmond.
Personally, I 
prefer it to GNOME's look. Miguel de Icaza makes me want to puke.

Second, if you stop to consider how complex KDE is and how
decentralized its 
development, you'll shake your head: it's simply incredible that it
all works 
as well as it does.
