I just went back to shatters.net and found this little note on the page.
*****************************************************************************
New Forums 28 Jan 2002
I've created a new Celestia forum. The old BlazeBoard based forum had way too
many bugs with formatting and storing user information. I've switched to
phpBB which is prettier, less buggy, and still in active development.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to import the old articles and user database
into phpBB, so I've left the old forum accessible.
********************************************************************************
So it looks like a webpage problem.
Alistair
PS I have their celestia space sim up and running, very nice.

I tried the specified site and konqueror crashed here too.
I am using KDE 2.2.2 MDK8.1 kernel 2.4.8-26
I will try KDE 3 as well but I don't know it yet.
