Environment: Konq2.2.2/KDE2.2.2; SuSE7.3; kernel-source-2.4.16.SuSE-31; TECRA8000 w/256mb RAM Konqueror hangs when I try to access the local filesystem. This happens when downloading to harddrive (directly or "save link as") and even directly attempting to access my filesystem via file browsing capabilities. The following is a partial extraction of ".xsession-errors" file which happend during/after 2 attempts to download a file and konqueror hanging: kio (KProtocolInfo): ERROR: Protocol '' not found kdecore (KURL): KURL couldn't parse URL "www.apache.org" kioslave : ###############SEG FAULT############# kdecore (KURL): KURL couldn't parse URL "--silent" kio (KProtocolInfo): ERROR: Protocol '' not found kdecore (KURL): KURL couldn't parse URL "www.apache.org I really like Konqueror, however, this is just too much to overlook. NS6.2.1 looks VERY good these days. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Anthony ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde-linux mailing list.
