Not sure what you meant.

The problem is that in Kmail you cannot enter a user name for the smtp 
server.  Before the change they required the outgoing server user id to be 
xxxx@rogers.com.  Now they want it to be just XXXX.  In netscape you can 
specify a user name for the incoming mail server and the outgoing mail 
server.  My outgoing mail server id should be XXXX and the incoming mail id 
should be xxxx@rogers.com.  This is the way they have it. Why? Who knows!

I got it to work in Netscape, but not in Kmail.  In Kmail, where does it get 
the server user id from?  I don't do see it anywhere.
