Hi!

Hope it's not that OT, but i'm writing an application and don't know which
licence I should use.

1)----------------------------------
I'm trying to write a kind of "kiosk-system" software based on kde2, which I
want to be free software, but don't want a company to change some lines of
code and sell the application itself, but I want that they can use it,
(install it) and write commercial plugins.
They should even be able to change the main framework as long as they don't
sell these changes, but publish them as open source again.

Should I use LGPL for the plugin interface and publish the rest under GPL or
what's the best way?

2)----------------------------------
If I self distribute a GPL'd application in connected with a hardware, what
may I charge for ? Is it allowed to to earn money from installation, support
("Serviceverträge"), the hardware and the configuration of the application
for a customer, or is this against the GPL? (I don't want to charge for the
software itself)

Hope you can help me

Thanks in advance

Kind regards
