That is an unjustified attack.
If Raul becomes off-hand in his responses to you, it is simply because
you have repeatedly failed to understand something he has explained in
some depth.
Please understand, Andreas, that Raul, Adam and I (to name three people
who have been taking this line) are not stupid, nor are we wicked, nor are
we trying to mislead. We may, of course, be mistaken (although, if I
thought that, I wouldn't have continueed with the argument).
When I have the time (probably early in the new year) I intend to set up a
web page answering, and explaining in as much depth as possible, the
interaction the GPL has with other licenses. I will be consulting with a
lawyer who has worked in a software company for a long time on IP issues.
When I have produced this page, I will advertise it here and on
debian-legal (as well to a few people in particular, probably RMS) for
comments.
