I would actually, in the end. I'd also like to make it possible for us to make
our own extensions to the modeling language, hence GNU Modeling Language. :-)

Yep. I have no intention of completely rewriting your application. I'd much
rather make as much of the code portable between Gnome and KDE as possible.
Early versions of a Gnome UML tool could wrap Dia as a CORBA component and use
it as the front end.

I can speak for myself, and the GNUML project, since I'm both. ;-)
