I tracked down the problems to be somewhere in the initialization phase
of kmail where no DwString or anything of mimelib is created.

Really strange. These errors are somehow related with temporary QStrings
I think.

Up to today it crashed when I recursively returned QStrings and added
a part each time (a bunch of directory objects forming a path), but
I managed to fix this, and now it crashes somewhere around QDir.

Really strange. Looks like there is a memory override, but I cannot
imagine where ...

Hopefully I find this bug, I am nearly at the end with my knowledge.
