Hi All,

I have a kiosk setup which I installed about this time last year using a
debian sarge pre-release which was using kde 3.2.3, and have recently
upgraded these machines to sarge proper (which uses kde 3.3.2).

The kiosk runs a single instance of konqueror in a profile that is full-screen
with basically everything that you can turn off turned off (i.e. no tool-bars
or menus, no shortcuts, no actions, etc) except for the status bar. This
worked fine in 3.2.3, however in 3.3.2 a small bar sits at the top of the
konqueror window, which when you double-click on it reveals itself to be the
tab bar by launching a new tab.

At some time in the past, I seem to remember there was an option to disable
tabbed browsing in konqueror, but if so it no longer exists now, and
searching for a way to either disable tabbed browsing or the double click to
get a new tab feature has not been enlightening.

Does anyone know of a way I can ensure a new tab cannot be opened?

Thanks,

Ralph
