Exactly. And it is used in far more circumstances than just apache.

The ability to distinguish between allowing one to list the contents of=20
a directory and accessing a known file in a directory or listing the=20
contents of deeper directorties is an essential system administrative=20
tool and should not be removed from Kiosk as you suggested.

So I would say that it should most definately not be changed.

So long as you are suggesting that a fourth action be added to Kiosk's=20
URL restriction capabilities rather than some be removed and/or=20
combined - IMHO.
