if anyone's interested, there is a book sale on www.buecherwurm.de
currently; they sell foreign (non-german) books at an exchange rate of 
$1 == 1 DEM, which is incredible cheap.
This sale is only until August 26, so if you're interested, hurry. Their
webserver has a few problems to handle the load, so you might try
alternative times (I ordered books until 5am :o)

I ordered a few of Richard Stevens, then the Photoshop Wow-Book and
"Computer Graphics in C", which are really cool.

Can anyone recommend other computer graphics/computer vision books or
maybe a good one about CORBA?
