I will leave the last word to Dmitry. But I fear we have too many issues on 
Krita right now, the current engine is very *reliable*. What I suggest is that 
we enable Dmitry's engine (no matter what) as soon as 2.1 is branched. Then we 
have six monthes to make it rock solid.
