Hi,

Beside KDE, there is an other soc project that is of interrest to Krita, it's 
the OpenICC one (see http://freedesktop.org/wiki/OpenIccForGoogleSoC2007), 
the five first topic are particulary "hot" for us.

Nothing prevent students to apply for different projects (OpenIcc and KDE), 
and developers to mentor in different projects.
