It would be great to have some sort of filter which combines the detail into one picture and uses a black translucent layer to recreate the shadow of the darkest picture. The KDE viewing applications could perhaps become aware enough of the new krita file format that they can not just show me the final composed picture (with the troublesome dark areas replaced with data from the bright picture) but actually have a slider to reduce the shadow layer. Perhaps I ask the impossible but thanks for your efford and time. You folks are great.
