As far as I know there is no existing standard for a floating point colorspaces, so that explains why it's missing in lcms. I think it'd be good to start from some exist and widely used colorspace as base, sRGB for example, and adapt it to floating point (remove gamma curves from it, leaving white balance as it is in sRGB)
