Kate (CVS version updated last sunday) crashed on saving my data. It did write 80k to \
disk, but the text stops somewhere at a line break. 

It's fun that Kate does not support backups (*~ files, like Emacs and others do).

If I can reproduce the bug (I don't hope so, my whole work of the last two days went \
to nerver never land), I'll send you the crash handler's output - I can't because I \
clicked it away too fast.... :-(
