Not a bug. Don't use the X clipboard if you don't want selections to 
overwrite, use the Ctrl-C/V/X clipboard instead.

If you have performed a search or a replace previoulsy and you try to search \
something again, the search term gets automatically put into clipboard.

This is annoying if you want to search for a term you have in clipboard.

To reproduce this:
- search something, ie: "aaaa"
- close search dialog
- select something you want to search for ie: "bbbb"
- open search dialog
- At this point the first entry of clipboard contains "aaaa", which is what you \
                searched before, but its not what you want to search now. (it should \
                contain "bbbb")
- Frustration ;)
