We are aware of that, but thanks anyway:)

Just click the small arrow button in the tool views  to dock them. And drag 
them around to position them where you desire in the Kate window, s black 
square will indicate the position. A black square in the middle of another 
tool view indicates the view you are moving will be docked as a tab in the 
one below.
