Subject: crash when opening open file dialog
From: Mattias@mail.ee
X-KDE-Received: -195.50.214.34

Package: kate
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake Linux 8.2 i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-6mdk
OS/Compiler notes:

The Kde Advanced Text Editor crashes with signal SIGSEGV quite often, when i click \
the Open file button on the toolbar. I have had lots of files (15..20) open in the \
sidebar at the time of this happening. I can't send in a backtrace, because my kde \
was compiled without debugging enabled (says "No debugging symbols found" in the \
backtrace box). I haven't tried using the menu commands enough to determine if the \
bug is also accessible that way.
