Thank you for your bug report. The bug that you reported has been identified, 
and has been fixed in the latest development (CVS) version of KDE. The bug 
report will be closed.

The goto dialog should have been correct all the time (starting with 1), only 
the status bar was wrong.

I have noticed that Kate numbers its lines from 0 on. However, all tools I know return the line number of \
an error or a warning with a line number starting from 1.

Examples: gcc, QT's XML parser

If you change it, please do not forget to change also the "goto line".

I am sorry, if this bug would have been fixed in the meantime.
