[Procedure]
1. open 'kwrite' or 'kate'
2. on the first line type 'anything' (don't press Enter or '\n')
3. press 'F6' to enable 'icon border'
4. Press 'Ctrl+B' or 'bookmark->toggle bookmark'
5. Press 'Ctrl+R'
6. Crash!

[Addendum]
1. Perhaps, it's due to my RH 7.1 and KDE 2.2.2-1 for RH 7.2
