Package: kate
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          Not Specified
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: RPM Mandrake 8.1

I use KDE 2.2.1 distribuited in Mandrake 8.1
In the window "Open Files, Selector" at up left, there's a buttom to open the \
directory of current document. If you click it, Kate crashes with signal 11 \
(SIGSEGV), backtraces are:

(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 1024 (LWP 1741)]
0x40e341d9 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
#0  0x40e341d9 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
#1  0x40eb1ef8 in __check_rhosts_file () from /lib/libc.so.6
#2  0x405ee2ae in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler () from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.3
#3  0x40d45847 in _IO_2_1_stderr_ () from /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

Sorry for my bad english (I'm Spanish), if you don't understand the bug, I try to \
explain it better.
