Yes that's the old kde bug i spoke about in my last mails...
Now with such a bug the configure should avoid to use gcc -fvisibility option
even if it supports it.
Renchi does the configure check and do it?
I'm quite sure to be near to a solution of my modem conne problem.
I'll give a look at it.
